Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
Authors
may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools as supportive research and writing
aids during the preparation of their manuscripts. However, the use of AI must
be transparent, responsible, and properly acknowledged.
AI
tools may be used for limited purposes such as:
- Research
methodology assistance or conceptual structuring
- Data
analysis support
- Grammar
correction and language improvement
- Formatting
assistance and manuscript organization
Authors
who use AI tools during manuscript preparation must clearly acknowledge the use
of such tools in their manuscript. The acknowledgment should include:
- The
name of the AI tool used
- The
version or model of the tool
- The
purpose for which the AI tool was used (for example: grammar
correction, conceptual assistance, formatting support, etc.)
Example
acknowledgment:
"During
the preparation of this manuscript, the author used [AI Tool Name]
(Version/Model) for language refinement and grammatical correction. The author
reviewed and edited the content and takes full responsibility for the final
manuscript."
Responsibility
for AI-Generated Content
Authors
must understand that the use of generative AI tools does not transfer
responsibility for the content. The author remains fully responsible for the
accuracy, originality, and integrity of the manuscript.
If
generative AI tools are used to assist in writing or editing the manuscript,
the author must carefully verify the generated content before submission.
Potential
issues that authors must check include:
- Copyright
violations
- Incorrect
or fabricated references
- References
for which the original source cannot be verified
- Inaccurate
data or misleading statements
- Improper
citations or attribution
- Plagiarism
or similarity with previously published works
- Any
misleading or false academic claims
If
any such issues are identified after publication, the author will be held
responsible for the content.
Author
Responsibility and Verification Before Submission
Before
submitting a manuscript, authors must carefully review and verify the entire
document. Authors should ensure that:
- The
manuscript content is accurate and properly referenced.
- All
references cited in the manuscript are authentic and accessible.
- Data,
figures, and interpretations are correct and supported by reliable
sources.
- The
manuscript does not contain plagiarism or unauthorized use of content.
- Any
AI-assisted content has been properly reviewed and verified by the author.
Authors
are strongly encouraged to cross-check and verify all content before
submission to ensure compliance with academic and ethical publishing
standards.
NMK
Research Publication expects authors to maintain transparency, integrity, and
responsibility in the preparation and submission of their manuscripts.
