Publication Process
NMK
Research Publication follows a structured and transparent publication process
to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are handled professionally and meet
academic publishing standards. The process is designed to guide authors from
manuscript submission to final publication in a clear and efficient manner.
Step 1:
Manuscript Submission
Authors
begin the process by submitting their manuscript through the official Manuscript
Submission Form or via the provided submission email.
At the
time of submission, authors are required to provide:
- Author details
- Manuscript title
- Number of pages
- Abstract or description
- Complete manuscript file
Upon
successful submission, the manuscript is recorded, and a Submission ID
may be generated for tracking purposes.
Step 2:
Initial Screening
After
submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial screening process to
check:
- Completeness of the manuscript
- Compliance with Author
Guidelines
- Basic formatting requirements
- Scope and suitability for
publication
Manuscripts
that do not meet basic requirements may be returned to the author for
correction before further processing.
Step 3:
Plagiarism and Policy Check
The
manuscript is then evaluated for:
- Plagiarism or similarity level (acceptable limit up to 20%)
- Proper citation and
referencing
- Compliance with publication
policies and ethical standards
If issues
are found, authors may be asked to revise and resubmit the manuscript.
Step 4:
Review Process
The
manuscript undergoes a review process depending on its type:
- Thesis-based books and
academic books:
Editorial and academic verification
- Research books: Internal or external academic
review
- Research book chapters: Chapter-level evaluation by
editors or subject experts
The
purpose of this step is to assess the academic quality, relevance, and overall
suitability of the manuscript.
Step 5:
Author Notification
After the
review process, the author is informed about the status of the manuscript. The
decision may be:
- Accepted
- Accepted with revisions
- Returned for correction
- Rejected
Authors
may be required to make necessary revisions based on feedback.
Step 6:
Final Manuscript Submission
Once the
manuscript is accepted, authors are required to submit the final revised
version of the manuscript.
At this
stage, authors should ensure that:
- All corrections have been
incorporated
- Formatting guidelines are
properly followed
- References and data are
verified
Step 7:
Publication Charges Processing
After
final acceptance, the applicable Book Publishing Charges (BPC) are
communicated to the author based on the manuscript page count or publication
type.
The
publication process proceeds after confirmation of the required charges.
Step 8:
Formatting and Layout Design
The
manuscript is then processed for:
- Professional formatting
- Layout design and structuring
- Preparation of final
publication-ready document
This stage
ensures that the book meets academic and professional publishing standards.
Step 9:
Proof Review (If Applicable)
Authors
may be provided with the formatted version for final review. Authors should
carefully check:
- Formatting and layout
- Spelling and typographical
errors
- Accuracy of content and
references
Any final
corrections should be communicated before publication.
Step
10: Final Publication
After
completion of all stages, the manuscript is published under NMK Research
Publication.
All
publications follow the Open Access model, meaning:
- The book or chapter is freely
accessible
- No subscription or paywall is
applied
- The content is available for
academic use
Step
11: Post-Publication Support
After
publication, authors may:
- Share their published work
- Use the publication for
academic and research purposes
- Promote their work within the
academic community
